The 2011 Axalp Airshow that would have been held at October 12th and 13th was cancelled due to possible operational deployment of the Swiss Air Force helicopters, after floodings caused by melting water.


What also may not have helped is possible floodings of the visitors parking spaces and the slippery slopes on the way to the top. Fact remains that we will have significantly less photo material of Axalp 2011 than previous years.


That is why I compiled three galleries of pictures taken of the Swiss Air Force Live Firing Event at Axalp from 2005 until 2010. I hope it is of little comfort to ease the wating until the 2012 Axalp Firing demo.
