Dutch Aviation museum Aviodrome in Lelystad has not been able to solve the financial struggles, as the museum filed for simple bankruptcy today.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported that talks are underway with Dutch enterpreneur Henny van der Most for a possible restart. I sure hope the unique collection of Dutch aviation heritage can be saved. Would really hate to see the Connie, PH-BUK and all the other vintage KLM planes be separated. An administrator will now try to find a solution. The park will remain open in the mean time.
