30 years after Braniff's bold adventure the fight for IC low cost air travel is shaping up again.


Singapore Airlines subsidiary Scoot (www.flyscoot.com) will be flying Boeing 777 to Australia and Europe from 2012. It is Singapore Airlines' answer to a changing market where ME carriers like Emirates and IC LCC's Jetstar from Australia and Air Asia X from Malaysia have put pressure on legacy carriers in recent years.
